CONSOL Energy Park in Washington, PA will celebrate Friday the 13th with a Food Truck Picnic and spooky Movie in the Park.
The outdoor event will feature several diverse food trucks, as well as select craft beer drafts. Also included is a screening of the 2015 horror drama Victor Frankenstein.
In director Max Landis‘ twist on a legendary tale, radical scientist Victor Frankenstein (James McAvoy) and his equally brilliant protégé Igor Strausman (Daniel Radcliffe) share a noble vision of aiding humanity through their groundbreaking research into immortality. But Victor’s experiments go too far, and his obsession has horrifying consequences. Only Igor can bring his friend back from the brink of madness and save him from his monstrous creation.
The Food Truck Picnic and Movie in the Park will take place on May 13th at 5 p.m. The movie will screen on CONSOL’s 500 square foot video board at 7 p.m. Bacon On The Fly, La Palapa, Southside BBQ Company Truck, Mission.Mahi, Wood Fired Flatbreads Mobile Pizzeria, and Washington Wild Things Dessert Den and Beer Wagon will sell food and beverages. Guests are welcome to bring their own lawn chairs and blankets. Admission is free. Parking costs $5 per car.
