Row House Cinema Shifts Gears For ‘Bike Vs Cars’

On January 26th, Row House Cinema and BikePGH will explore the rift between the current transportation infrastructure and growing bike advocacy with a documentary film event.

Directed by Fredrik Gertten, Bikes vs Cars depicts a “global crisis that we all deep down know we need to talk about: climate, earth’s resources, cities where the entire surface is consumed by the car,” and the bicycle’s potential role as a tool for positive change. The film includes interviews with activists and thinkers from all over the world who are fighting for better cities, and who refuse to stop riding despite the increasing number of cyclists killed in traffic.

Bike vs Cars will screen at 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. at Row House Cinema (note: the 7:30 p.m. show is currently sold out). Guests are invited to enjoy a drink with BikePGH representatives at Atlas Bottle Works before and after each show. Tickets cost $12 and are available for purchase at the Row House website. All ticket sale proceeds will benefit BikePGH.
