The recently opened Arcade Comedy Theater provides interactive, offbeat live experiences in an intimate 75-seat setting. On May 31st, the venue gets a dose of turtle power when a cast of local actors, comedians, and special guests perform a live stage reading of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
Directed by Chris Preksta, the performance is a tribute to the hit 1990 film, which brought the comic book characters to life on the big screen to do battle with Shredder and his Foot Clan. Preksta will also read the part of Leonardo, and will be joined by WTAE news anchor Sally Wiggin as April O’Neil, and Pittsburgh Dad star Chris Wootton as Casey Jones. Rounding out the main players is Patrick Jordan as Raphael, Dave Fedor as Michelangelo, Mike Rubino as Donatello, James Fitzgerald as Splinter, and John Feightner as Shredder. David J. Fielding will serve as narrator for the event.
Two shows will take place at 8 p.m. and 10 p.m. Tickets are $10 in advance and are available for purchase at Brown Paper Tickets.
