Horror Realm Scares Up Screenings Of ‘Dark Intruder’ And ‘Psycho-Circus’


On Jan. 19th, Horror Realm hosts a special double feature at the Crowne Plaza Hotel Pittsburgh South, with 16 mm copies of the 1965 film Dark Intruder and the 1966 film Psycho-Circus, aka Circus of Fear.


Set in San Francisco during the Victorian age, Dark Intruder follows a criminologist who finds himself involved in a hellish situation when a disfigured wizard conjures up a demon to help him transfer his soul into the perfect body of his popular twin brother.

When an armored car is robbed, one of the gang hides the money in a circus where murder is the main attraction. Psycho-Circus, aka Circus of Fear stars Christopher Lee and Klaus Kinski.

Films begin at 8 p.m. Admission for the event is $5. Guests can also enjoy free popcorn and a cash bar.
