Scares Come Cheap At the Horror Fan Flea Market

Everyone likes a good deal, especially if it comes with food and entertainment. On Saturday, August 25th, the Hollywood Theater hosts the Horror Fan Flea Market, a day dedicated to horror buffs and the genre they love.

The event, which is part of Horror Realm‘s Summer of Scares, will feature around 20 non-professional vendors selling and trading old horror movies, figures, posters, books, and more. Besides browsing, the festivities include crazy vintage horror film trailers, a 50/50 raffle, and a drawing for a pair of free weekend passes to Horror Realm’s fall show. Patrons can also partake of the hot popcorn, cold drinks and candy offered at the concession stand, or buy a goodie at the bake sale.

Afterwards, buyers and sellers alike can stay for a mini-horror movie marathon. At 3 p.m., the Hollywood Theater will screen Don’t Look in the Basement, followed by director Lamberto Bava‘s 1985 cult classic Demons at 7 p.m.

The Horror Fan Flea Market begins at 10 a.m. and runs until 2 p.m. The event is open to the public. Admission and street parking are free. All proceeds benefit the Hollywood Theater.
